Some believe that the letter itself — telling of a mother whose baby turned blue after being given Orajel — is a hoax or a simple urban legend. As it turns out, there is some truth behind the basis of the story, regardless of whether the incident in the letter truly happened. Teething can be a nightmare for parents and toddlers alike.
